Instruments for Kids Program

Do you have a used clarinet or trombone hiding in your attic or basement?  Never found a home for a treasured, used flute?  Bring them over to the Colonial School District's Administration building on Basin Road and we will make sure they make their way into the hands of an earnest, young musician!  The Colonial Educational Foundation is collecting used instruments, refurbishing them, and turning them over to students who can use them for lessons and performance in their schools.  Some of our students are unable to rent instruments.  Through this program, we hope to supply those who need with instruments so that they can practice and perform alongside their friends in their school's band.  Thank you to the Wilmington Manor Lions Club who donated $1,000 to help provide instruments to students in the district who otherwise might not have had the opportunity to learn to play.
